Services
The Niles Public Library District owns a wide selection of audiovisual materials for children, teens and adults. All audiovisual materials for adults and teens can be found in the Audiovisual Department located on the first floor of the Library. Children's materials are located in the Youth Services Department.

The
Collection
The Niles Public Library District's Audiovisual collection is filled with feature film DVDs, music CDs, and audio books. Check out our online Audiobook and Music services. We now have downloadable audiobooks available to District cardholders. Visit the library to set up your Net Library account.
Informational DVDs are now located on the 3rd floor of the library.

Resources
A wealth of information on music and film is available to assist patrons.
Databases, displays and titles in various genres can help teens and
adults locate just the right recording or movie.
Services
Library patrons in search of a specific recording artist or movie can
ask for assistance at the Audiovisual Desk or call (847) 663-6640. Interlibrary
loans are also available to district cardholders for items not owned
by the Library.
Programs
NPLD provides a variety of programs related to film and music. The
Library's film discussion group, movie presentations and live concerts
are presented throughout the year. A current schedule of these events
can be found in the Library's newsletter and on the Calendar web page.
