1. Reserve
Use your own library card number to reserve a computer at a Reservation Station or any available computer (reservations for Youth Services computers can only be created at the Youth Services Reservation Station). Reserve the next available computer or reserve a computer for a specific time in the next 7 days.
A receipt is printed for each reservation made at a Reservation Station. Keep this receipt! It contains:
· the time of your reservation
· the name of the computer reserved for you
· a 4-digit reservation number
2. Sign On
At the reservation time, sign onto the designated computer using your reservation number. You may sign onto your computer early if it is available. Your reservation will expire if you do not sign onto the computer within ten (10) minutes after the reservation time printed on the receipt.
Each reservation is for sixty (60) minutes*. A time clock will count down the time remaining in your session.
To temporarily leave your terminal during a session, Lock the computer with a password of your choice so it cannot be used by another until you return or your session expires. Session time continues to count down when a computer is locked.
3. Quit
Click the Done button to end a session and make the computer available for another user.
Three warnings will appear before a session expires—at 10, 4, and 2 minutes.
Any unsaved work will be lost when a session expires.
