Paws for Cozy Mysteries

Shelia from TeaLula will bring tea tasting samples from the Tea Shop Mysteries by Laura Childs: Death by Darjeeling, Blood Orange Brewing and The Jasmine Moon Murder. Share a book title and author of a favorite cozy mystery to enter the door prize drawing. Haven’t read a cozy lately? Stop by the Adult Services desk on the 2nd level for a bibliography.

SCORE Small Business Counseling (by appointment only)

Take advantage of private one-hour sessions of business coaching.
Counselers from the Chicago Chapter of SCORE® will be at the Library to advise small business owners and start-ups with planning, marketing or financial solutions.

Sessions begin at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm.

Senior Coffee Hour: Living Stronger Through Exercise

Dr. Burton Fischman, an 81 year old Certified Personal Trainer, will talk about how it's never too late to practice a healthy lifestyle. You can improve your mobililty as you age! In this fun filled interactive class you will learn the basics of physical fitness and go home with a complimentary guide of exercises you can do on your own.Wear casual clothing. There will be a "light" sampling of exercise.
