Adult Computer Beginner Boot Camp

This 3 week training session meets 2 consecutive Thursdays and one more date to be announced. Learn to use the mouse, keyboard, explore Windows, begin searching the internet. Registering for the first session of the month reserves your seat for all 3 days. There is no individual session registration.

Tablet Tuesdays

Have a tablet and need some help getting started? Join us for help using your iPad, Android tablet or Kindle Fire. Learn to customize your device and install apps. We will be at the service desk across from the Cafe in the Library Commons main floor. Just walk-in.

Everyday Internet use is easy. Learn the secrets to locating information you need. Find out how to use popular search engines. See how to locate addresses, get directions and phone numbers, order prints of your digital photos, or find the rest of a news story.

Android Apps

Learn how to find, get and use apps for your Android tablet. Bring in your Samsung, Nexus, or other android device along with your device ID, password, and cords. Seats limited to 12. THIS CLASS WAS LISTED IN CHAPTER ONE AS MEETING ON MAY 26 AND HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO MAY 15.

Tech Time for Adult Learners

Today to keep up or get ahead at work you need to know how to use popular computer programs and social media. Come to the Technology Lab to get acquainted with our resources to learn these skills. Work at your own pace. You can use our computers or bring your own computer or tablet. Staff will be on hand to assist. Walk in, no reservation is required.

Open Help Tech Desk

Have tech questions that no one can answer? We can help! The technology experts from FireLogic will be hosting a 3 hour open-door session for any and all tech questions. From help with battling malware infections to solving odd computer errors, patrons will be helped on a first come, first served basis by certified FireLogic staff. Please, do not bring in desktop computers. Laptops, tablets, and smartphones are welcome.
