Celebrate the joy that poems bring by picking up a poem in the library and sharing it with others. Poems will be distributed in the library and throughout the Niles community on this special tribute to poetry day.

Teens design one-of-a-kind creatures from recycled toys and stuffed animals. Bring your inner mad-scientist to create a monster. All supplies will be provided.

Edible Architecture Exhibition

What can you construct using food items out of the kitchen cupboard? Design a noted architectural building, sculpture, bridge or landmark out of edible ingredients. Build your structure off site and bring it to the library to be judged by the Niles Library Summer Teen Interns. Prizes for winners!
