Halloween Events

Get ready for Halloween at the Niles Public Library! We're offering a great selection of spooky programs for everyone in your family. Click on the link for more information and to register (if necessary).

Spooky Saturday
Sat., Oct. 26, 12pm
Grades 1-4
Brave souls are invited to listen to spooky stories, eat a sweet treat, show off your costume, and go trick-or-treating in the Library. Parents are welcome to attend. Wear a costume if you like.

Halloween Nail Art
Sat., Oct. 26, 2-4pm
Grades 7-12
Happy Halloween! Let your fingertips glow with evil pumpkins, ghastly ghosts and scary spiders. Colleen Kelly will assist teens  with their Halloween designs.

Illinois UFO
Sun., Oct. 27, 2-3pm
Terry Fisk will share photos, case histories, eyewitness accounts and talk about some of the cases he has personally investigated.  He will discuss the top UFO sightings including well-known cases in Illinois such as the Franklin Park Sighting (1979), Rockford Sightings (2000), St. Clair County Triangle Sightings (2000), Downers Grove UFO Landing (2000), Tinley Park Lights (2004), and Chicago O'Hare UFO sighting (2006).
