HALLOWEEN Movie Talk on Nosferatu

Sun., Oct. 23, 2-3pm (Registration required)
Silent films are visually striking representations of human emotions, including fear and uncertainty. Join John Nygro, lecturer, actor, translator, narrator, and musician in a one hour talk about this classic silent horror film featuring digitally restored highlights. Participants will view the visual artistry of this frightening classic to gain a deeper understanding of its beauty as well as the psychological implications of what inspires fear.

Come to a program of stories, songs, and Halloween crafts. Come in your costume if you’d like.


Halloween Masks

Thurs., Oct. 27, 3:30-5pm (Registration required)
Use the Silhouette Cameo Vinyl Cutter to create masks for Halloween.


Spooky Saturday

Sat., Oct. 29, 12-1pm (Registration required)
Grades 1-4
Brave souls are invited to listen to spooky stories, eat a sweet treat, show off your costume, and go trick-or-treating in the Library. Parents are welcome to attend. Come in your costume if you’d like.
