Look for books, recordings, films, etc. and see whether they are
available or checked out.
For some books, view book summaries and reviews, brief author biographies,
book jacket covers, and sometimes tables of content or a chapter
from a book.
Manage your own account. Review lists of what you have checked
out or have on hold and see if any fines are due. Renew
your books or place your own holds.
Virtually browse the shelves using the Call Number
Browse option in Power Search.
Get suggestions for reading by using the Best Sellers and
Award Winners lists on the opening screen.

| How do I get to iBistro from home? |

From any library web page click on the iBistro Catalog icon. |
| How do I know what my barcode and password
are? |
| |
Your barcode is the string of 14 numbers on your library
card. Do not use spaces when typing them in.
Your password is the word patron. You may change
this using the My Account option.

out or on hold? |

Click on the Review My Account option under My
Account and enter your barcode and password. |
| How do I see what fines I owe? |

How do I renew my own books?

Click on the Renew My Materials option under My Account
and enter your barcode and password. Note that some books are restricted
and cannot be renewed or must be renewed by library staff. |

on an item in the catalog? |

Click on the small hand at the top of the Full Details screen of
the item you wish to have held for you and enter your barcode and
password.
The iBistro will locate the first available copy in CSS
libraries.

| How will iBistro remember my barcode and password
for a whole session so I dont have to keep re-entering it? |

Enter your barcode and password in the Login box on
the first iBistro screen. |
| How do I search
for Movies, Music or Audiobooks? |
| |
First click on the Or, Switch to Power Search box. In the
words or phrase box, type in one of the following formats:
VHS or DVD or
CD or AUDIOBOOKS.
Type in one or more other search terms under Author, Title, Subject,
and/or Series
You can also search for specific song titles on a CD by typing
in the song title in the words or phrase box. After typing
in the song title, type in cd in the same box
Hint: If all the words in the song title are very common words,
put the song title in quotes so will search the words in proper
order.
