Visits to the Library

We would be delighted to have your class visit us at the library. For younger grades, we can provide a storytime and a special tour of the library. For older grades, we can show your students how to navigate our website, access online databases, contact tutors online, and find print materials for their research.  We can also focus older grade visits to a specific subject or topic, if desired.  Please contact our school liaison, Sarah Spetoskey, at 847-663-6620 or email at sspetosk@nileslibrary.org to schedule a visit.

Visits to Classrooms

Our preschool liaison, Clara Sheffer, visits local preschools and daycares for storytimes.  To schedule a visit to your facility, please contact her at 847-663-6628 or email at csheffer@nileslibrary.org. Our school liaison visits K-6th grade classes at area schools with storytimes, booktalks, and bibliographies for each grade, as well.  All visits are schedule through the school media specialist or librarian.
