Focus on Financials: Accounting Tools for Money Management

An overview of the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting. Basic accounting principles used to measure business success will be discussed. You can use this knowledge to make better business decisions based on limited resources, pricing decisions, break even analysis and business ratios among other topics. Presented by SCORE Chicago volunteer Arnold Goldberg.

Hassle-Free Couponing

Save money and time with paperless coupons using a favorite store site and the Internet. Staff will demonstrate 'clipping' online coupons from local grocery stores including Walgreens, Jewel, and Target. These coupons are Internet-based and do not require a tablet or smartphone. After the demo, you will have time to set up personal accounts. You may use the Library’s laptops in Studio B or bring your own tablet or smartphone.
