Tech Time for Adult Learners - Using lynda.com

No Registration but seats are limited to 12
Today, to keep up or get ahead you need to know how to use popular computer programs and social media. Come to the Technology Lab to get acquainted with Lynda.com to learn these skills or get job search essentials working at your own pace. You can use our computers or bring your own computer or tablet. Staff will be on hand to assist.

Adult learners call 847-663-6432 to request an appointment for one fifty minute session with the trainer. Get help using the Internet, library catalog, Office software, e-mail, saving/storing pictures and files. Bring your own tablet, laptop or use the Library’s computer for your training.

This 4 week training session meets Thursday evenings in September and one evening in October. Learn to use the mouse, keyboard, search the internet, and begin using email. Registering for the Sept 11 session reserves your seat for all 4 Tuesdays. There is no individual session registration.

Everyone needs computer skills today. Come to the Technology Lab to use Lynda.com to update your computer abilities or just come in to practice. You can use our computers or bring your own computer or tablet. Stay for the full session or just as long as you need. Staff will be on hand to assist. No Registration – but seats are limited to 12.
