If you experience any problems accessing the online databases, please make sure of the following:
- If the computer you are using is running behind a firewall
Our server is configured to provide access to databases on TCP/IP ports that may be blocked by some firewall configurations. You will need to ensure that your firewall is configured to allow connections to www.nileslibrary.org on Ports 2048 and 2050-2448 as our server uses these ports to provide remote access to the databases.
- Your browser should be configured to accept Cookies
If it is not, you will be asked to re-enter your library card number each time you use another database during a session.
