Museum Passes
Museum Adventure Pass
The Museum Adventure Pass program provides free admission or a special discount to 18 unique destinations in the Chicago area.
Passes are available on a first come, first served basis at the KidSpace Desk, and are limited to Niles-Maine cardholders. The passes must be picked up in person and cannot be held over the phone. Each pass is good for one week. These passes are limited to one pass at a time, per household.
Some of the participating museums/cultural organizations include:
- Air Classics Museum
- Brookfield Zoo
- Cantigny Park
- Chicago Botanic Garden
- Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center
- Illinois Railway Museum
- Mitchell Museum of the American Indian
- Naper Settlement

Explore More Illinois is a cultural pass program that provides discounts at museums, park districts, historical societies, zoos, arts centers, and more. It’s easy to use and free with your Niles-Maine library card. Attractions include Chicago Children’s Museum and Discovery Center Museum. Library staff are happy to look up the free days for the attraction you are interested in, as the EMI system does not always include those dates in their calendar.
