Ready for a challenge? Like to read? Gather a team to read 10 books from the Lincoln List, then compete in a trivia competition.
Step 1: Gather a team of 2-6 people in grades 9-12.
Step 2: Think up a team name.
Step 3: Register your team by filling out the online form below or downloading the registration form. Registration forms may be emailed, mailed, or dropped off at the Teen Underground. All forms must be submitted by December 31, 2023.
Step 4: Split up and read the 10 books from the Abraham Lincoln Award lists from 2024.
Step 5: Gather at the Library on Wednesdays, February 14, 21, 28, 5-8 p.m. for the Lincoln Cup Championship.
The winning team will get gift cards to a restaurant of their choice. Everyone who participates will get a free tote bag and book. For more information, please email teen@nileslibrary.org or take a look at the Lincoln Cup rules and tips here.
A minimum of three teams are needed for the Lincoln Cup to move forward, all teams will be contacted by Friday, January 5, 2024 to confirm if enough teams registered to continue.
