The Creative Studio is a space for making, learning, and crafting. We encourage you (the patron) to explore projects and ideas on your own and then use the Creative Studio to transform your ideas into reality.

Things You Can Do

• Embroider a dish towel, pillow, or other fabric with the embroidery machine
• Cut out vinyl designs for t-shirts, mailboxes, or signs
• Etch or cut your own design onto acrylic or wood
• Create a 3D object in Tinkercad and have it printed on the 3D printer
• And so much more!

Niles-Maine District Library cardholders with cards in good standing can borrow items from our Library of Things. You will be asked to read and sign a user agreement before you can check out items.

In the Library, and ready to check out?
Unhook the blue item card and give it to library staff at the Technology Desk on the Lower Level.

What if it’s checked out?
Either scan the QR code on the orange item card to place a hold on the item yourself, or bring the card to the Technology Desk on the Lower Level to have staff place a hold for you.
