Looking for a quiet room to study or a meeting space for your group? The Niles-Maine District Library is the place to go! Read our Meeting and Study Room Policies for more information.
Our six study rooms are free of charge to use, can accommodate up to 6 people, and are booked in 2-hour blocks. Niles-Maine cardholders may reserve a study room up to one week in advanced, otherwise the rooms are available on a first-come, first served basis with a registered library card. For questions, please call 847-663-6606.
The Library welcomes the use of its meeting rooms for civic, cultural, and social activities. Such meeting places will be available on equal terms to all groups in the Niles-Maine Library District community, regardless of the beliefs and affiliations of their members. The Library Board of Trustees does not endorse the views of any group or organization using the Library’s meeting rooms. All meetings are open to the public and must adhere to Library Rules. Other Policy restriction may apply.
Meeting room requests must be submitted online by a Niles-Maine cardholder. For-profit organizations will be charged a non-refundable service fee. For technical assistance submitting an online meeting room request through our website, visit the Tech Desk on the Lower Level.
To check meeting room availability by date, please choose non-profit organization or profit organization from the drop-down menu. Rooms may be requested no more than 30 days in advance and no fewer than 7 days before the requested date. We will do our best to review all requests within 5 business days. For questions, please call 847-663-1234.
