At the Niles-Maine District Library, we believe in growing and evolving with our community. That’s why we’ve partnered with Fast Forward Libraries to develop a strategic plan—a roadmap to ensure we continue providing the best possible services, resources, and experiences.
This process includes three key phases:

• Learn – Understand community needs and challenges.
• Dream – Imagine what the future of the library could look like.
• Do – Put the vision into action.

We are currently starting our Learn phase, where we’re listening to our community, gathering data, and exploring what matters most to our patrons. This is the first step in a journey to create a library that meets both today’s and tomorrow’s needs. Your input is essential!
