The Library is seeking two (2) part-time teen interns to assist the Youth and Teen Services Department for the 2024 summer season.

Internship Tasks and Responsibilities
Salary: $15/hour for 55 hours worked from June-August.
Hours: 5-6 hours per week for 10 weeks from the beginning of June through early August.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Work with the public and behind the scenes
Help Youth Services staff with summer programming
Work on one or more special projects with the Teen Services librarians
Qualifications
Preference is given to students who will be entering junior or senior year of high school, or first year of college in the fall.
Must Have:
Excellent communication skills
Good computer and social media skills
Roll with the busy atmosphere in Youth and Teen Services
Mature attitude
Sense of humor
Must be a resident of the Library district or attend a school that serves residents of the district.
