Policy 3.13 Cooperation with Other Libraries

The Board of Trustees recognizes that no single library can meet all demands in its community. The Library supports participation in networks of cooperating libraries to share resources and technology, exchange information and avoid unnecessary duplication of materials. The Niles-Maine District Library maintains an active membership in the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) in order to extend Niles-Maine District Library's ability to serve library users.
